We read THE COLOR MONSTER and made painted paper monsters of our own. I always love how this lesson turns out. Last pic - she made an homage to SCRAPPY, my trash can. Notice, his iPhone accessory. Made by another student. 🥰😆🎨#MESRocks

My sister and I led fellow educators in an Arts Integration Bryan County Schools-PL session today. We made process art, discussed various aspects of making the arts applicable in ANY CLASSROOM, and we wrapped with making collages that told our personal story. #MESRocks Bryan County Schools

The cold doesn’t matter when the enchantment of light heats up your heart. These seasonal stunners were made by PreK and Kindergarten artists. #MESRocks

Batik Bugs with 3rd grade. This was our first time trying this, and we LOVED it. We used Elmers glue to resist the pigment instead of wax. Same effect. #MESRocks

We read The Greedy Python before making these cutie painted paper snakes. Watch out, they may try to kiss you with their little pink tongues. #kindergartenart #MESRocks

I stay away from crayons as a medium in art class because they are so common for elementary students. We dove “all in” with nothing but crayon for these Earth Day illustrations however, and they are too charming! Based off the story “How the Crayons Saved the Earth. #MESRocks

Zoom in to see my favorite artist! **Ahem… it’s not me, lol.** “The artist is not a different kind of person. Every person is a different kind of artist.” #MESRocks #ArtTeacher
