It’s bad enough that I have to risk my children’s lives each day to walk to school along the dangerous A515, but then thoughtlessness from Openreach means we have to somehow step out into the road & try not to die to get past this. No pavement opposite. Fuming.

(1/2) Ash dieback tree safety work will begin on the #TissingtonTrail from tomorrow (28 June) for four weeks between Mapleton Lane car park, Ashbourne, and Thorpe Station. Access to the trail will still be possible, however there may be short delays for safety reasons.

(2/2) The work involves removing hazardous ash trees, infected with ash dieback, which require urgent removal to make the area safe. The affected trees have 75% or more crown dieback. The work will take place on weekdays only & will be complete before the school holidays start.
