Harry Ferguson An important thread Harry Ferguson and just another devastating case. My paper ESWRA in Vilnius presents on the impact of lockdowns on child protection with impact on children and social worker wellbeing. Will post the paper published in BJSW Open Access

Excited to announce a new paper published BJSW by Alicia Chatterjee Alicia Chatterjee and Prof. Yoosun Park: 'Trauma as the ‘Belief That the World is a Dangerous Place.’ If 'to perceive the world as safe' is normative, what about those facing systemic violence?

It's great having a paper published, but something special about it being Editor's Choice in BJSW. It looks at working conditions & wellbeing in social care workers in Covid, showing how hard they worked under such tough conditions. I'm very honoured that the article received the award. This is a meaningful step towards the recognition of the value of children's views (pun intended).

I urge everyone to please read the article and hear what children say about their lives.
