In the open 400 Guyon Young finished second in 49.93 breaking Coach Harris' record and becoming the first Blaze runner to break fifty seconds!

Gabe Brown finished 5th in the open 400 with a season best 51.14 in a very strong run.

The 4x400 of Gabe Brown, O'Marius Fitts, Guyon Young, and Elijah Harris broke the school record (also held by a team involving Coach Harris) finishing third place with a 3:24.65 in an extremely exciting end to the night.

The Lady Blaze finish seventh at the District 7 Sub Section yesterday. Jamaria Harrold (200), Toni Herbert (100 H and 300 H), Molly James (Pole Vault), Sophia Patton (Discus) and the 4x100 advance to next Friday's Section Two Meet.

The guys finish third at the District Seven SubSection. The 400 trio of Guyon Young, Eli Harris, and Gabe Brown finish 1,2, and 3. Eli also finishes first in the 800 with Christian Lewis 2nd. Cameron Buckner finishes fourth in the 100. Daniel Koralewski finishes 4th in the 1600.

The 4x100 relay finished 3rd. The 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 all finish 1st. All four advance to the Section Two Meet Friday at Riverdale.

Yesterday at Riverdale the Lady Blaze finished tied for 17th with Soddy Daisy and Ooltewah in the Section Two Meet. Molly James finished as Runner Up in the Pole Vault clearing 8'6. She broke her school record, broke into the State Top 50 heights, and qualified for State

The Blaze finished third at the Section Two Meet behind Walker Valley and Ooltewah. Section Champs include: Guyon Young (400), the 4x800 of Daniel Koralewski, Christian Lewis, and Elijah Harris, the 4x100 of O'Marius Fitts, Bryndon Odom, Guyon Young, and Cameron Buckner.

Other Section Champs include the 4x400 of O'Marius Fitts, Noah Cobb, Guyon Young, and Gabe Brown. The 4x200 also qualified for state with a fourth place finish. Christian Lews just missed state with a fifth place time an agonizing half second behind fourth place.

Also of note, Cameron Buckner finished seventh in the 100 with a time of 11.08. This time places him as the fourth fastest Blaze individual behind Micaleous Elder (10.76), Maison Baer (10.95), and Dee Mathers (11.05), but just ahead of I'tavius Mathers (11.09).

Molly James represented the Lady Blaze with a 12th place finish in pole vault in her first trip to the TSSAA State Meet.

The Blaze 4x800 Team of Daniel Koralewski, Elijah Harris, Christian Lewis, and Noah Cobb finish 9th place with a season best time of 8.26.85.

The Blaze 4x200 Relay runs their best time of the season and ends up as All State Medalists with a 7th place finish. Members include: Aaron Green, Cameron Buckner, Bryndon Odom, and Chris Bogan.

Guyon Young broke his school record running 49.88 and finishing in 8th place on the podium.

In the final race, the 4x400 finished fourth behind Whitehaven, Bartlett, and Antioch. The relay won this race out of the slow heat racing Antioch the whole way. The team of O'marius Fitts, Gabe Brown, Guyon Young, and Elijah Harris also broke the school record running 3:22.17.
