Rains have passed, time to go out and get the boat ready to roll. Ray and his son will be joining me for a trip to Sheldon. Not sure what to expect but we are going to go see if any of those big girls up there what to play.

Bad days fishing are better than most other days. Weather sucked, the lake was low, super clear and clogged with hydrilla. Wind gusting 25-30 and the trolling motor batteries died. Ok it wasn't all bad, we did catch a few fish even with all the bad stuff 😉.

Didn't take long after setting the hook to realize it wasn't a bass.....LOL

I hate fishing muddy water, hate to prefish in muddy water even more! That sort of changed Sunday on Clear Creek Bayou. Here is the best of my 5 bass, but the other 4 weren't much smaller.

As usually Lake Houston is a muddy mess, but for two trips in a row I have found fish and good fish at that. Weather forecast this week might change things though with temps in the 80s the water might warm up enough to kick off the spawn. Par for the course so far this year.

7th place on Lake Houston. Had a great tournament but just couldn't find a good anchor fish.

Turbo Minnows did it again for my buddy Ray and I this weekend. He finished 2nd and I was 3rd.

Had a pair of Eagles join us out there as well, just wish I had a better camera with me. Fishing was OK, not a great day but we did put some in the boat. Both of us had big fish on early but we couldn't get them to the boat. Here are a few pics of some of what I caught.

My teammate and I won the BBL Championship!! Next stop is the Bassmaster Team Championship!

Team Turbo Buzz at the Day 2 weigh in of the Bassmaster Team Championship. We weighed in limits both days and finished 81st out of 250 teams from around the world. Hope to make in back next year and do even better.
