HB 785 makes Maryland a national leader in countering the increasing attempts to ban books in school & public libraries and ensures we are exposing students to diverse viewpoints in a thoughtful and respectful way.

This Just In -- House Appropriations Committee passes a BIPARTISAN Budget Reconciliation and Financing Act.

The bill includes targeted revenues to support our transportation system and keep our commitments to students and educators in the Blueprint.

HB 605, which creates a commission to establish a memorial to Veterans of the Global War on Terror & their families, has passed the Maryland House of Delegates, unanimously!

Touring some of the state’s investments in education, parks, transportation and other resources is an MGA tradition for new legislators ahead of the upcoming session. It was great to join President Bill Ferguson at St. John's College to welcome legislators to Day #1 of their tour.
