🗳️ There aren’t any Town Council elections today, on Thursday 2nd May, because the wards were uncontested, but there will be local elections for the Dorset Council and the Police & Crime Commissioner. Don't forget your photo ID!

If your voting by post in the May elections, please use a Royal Mail letter box for posting your vote.

Please don't hand them in to council offices who are unable to accept them.

Reminder to also post them well ahead of election date on 2 May so your vote counts.

🤝We are pleased to announce that Hammond Building Contractors have been awarded the contract for the Corn Exchange works and the pre-start meeting has taken place. Town Clerk, Linda Scott-Giles is centre with the team from Hammond on her right and Design Team on her left.

😅 The Town Hall / Corn Exchange closed to the public on 1st April 2024 and staff have started the decant process of all the rooms. We are making use of the Corn Exchange hall to lay out all the items and allocate appropriate storage locations off-site.
