One year ago today, 17 Manitobans lost their lives following a collision near Carberry. Today our thoughts and condolences are with their families, the first responders and citizens who aided on scene, and with all those who continue to mourn and recover from this tragic event.

Tremendous response by IAFF Local 803 Brandon Firefighter Paramedics and Brandon Police Service to a vehicle fire that could have been far worse due to the proximity to local businesses and apartments downtown.
