During Pride month we're looking at the different letters of LGBTQ+. L is for Lesbian. Lesbians face lesbophobia in & out of LGBTQ+ community. During Anti LGBTQ+ Phobia Week it's important to think about what this looks like and how we can tackle this. #LisforLesbian

G is for Gay The term gay is primarily used to describe an attraction to someone of the same sex but also used more generally to express non heterosexual attraction. Homophobia is defined as the unfounded dislike/ prejudice against gay people. #GisforGay #AntiLGBTQPlusPhobia

B is for Bisexual Bisexual is when a person is attracted to more than one gender. Being bi doesn't automatically mean you're 50% attracted to men and 50% attracted to women. #BisforBisexual #AntiLGBTQPlusPhobia

Q is for Queer The word queer was originally used as a slur and derogatory term but has been reclaimed since around the 1980s. The term queer comes from a history of struggle and can be seen as a rejection of heteronormativity. #QisforQueer #AntiLGBTQPlusPhobia
