Do you want to welcome new students and be thanked by the Lord Mayor at the Birmingham Council House for it? Apply to be our international orientation buddy - icity.bcu.ac.uk/Student-Affair… I had a blast doing it the past 2 years and the Lord Mayor even lended me his cap!

Your friendly reminder that the #NUSBlack18 hashtag is an extension of conference floor. Let's make this a great conference experience for everyone, discuss, debate and network. 😎

#NUSBlack18 I am proud of the journey both BSO candidates have been through and I'm sure you've been empowering and inspiring many They may not come back and say thank you, your story helped me but knowing that you contributed to changing peoples lives for the better is amazing

Running in an SU election is emotionally exhausting let alone a national campaign, yet @msceewhy hasn't stopped after standing for international student's officer, this alone shows how determined and passionate and committed she is for our movement #nusblack18

.@AyoOlatunji96 said organisers’ success is testament to those supporting them. I can’t stress how true this is. I am so grateful for this award & I wouldn’t have been able to do half of what we have without the socs & people tagged in this. A thousand thank yous xxx #NUSBlack18

#nusblack18 was definitely eye-opening for me! I'd like to stress the point that Chinese people are Asians too and we don't feel included with the term 'Black' whether nationally or on campus; fair play that we voted not to change the campaign name but NUS Black Student Campaigners Network needs to action

#nusblack18 When I've been called names on streets or get shouted at from cars because I am a Chinese person, most of the times it was by black people I want POCs to stand together against oppression but we 100% need to lead by example and do better ourselves
