Today marks the completion of 8 community clinics for elsadiabetes in Birmingham with around 160 children recruited from diverse communities as a result of effective community engagement and building trust NIHR CRN West Midlands @bhamcommunity BCHC R&I Qadria Trust UK Uni of Birmingham

Today we were at Simmer Down to provide free health checks to over 50 people in the Black/African & Carribean communities with the support of West Midlands Police @bhamcommunity Macmillan Cancer Support and GP from Modality Birmingham
Brilliant to see this happening, what a great example of true community engagement and partnership working. Great job BCHC Community Connexions and @bhamcommunity colleagues #Proud I hope we can work with local communities to do more of this, helping people access health screening and care
