Tomorrow (9/11/2024) a District Court judge will hear arguments from Mormon Women for Ethical Government & LWV of Utah in their legal challenge to Amendment D's misleading ballot language. We stand with the plaintiffs, and Utahns from across the political spectrum, as they oppose this power grab.

The current national battle over mid-decade redistricting is a perfect illustration of why Better Boundaries exists. Voters should not be used as partisan political pawns, and, 7 years after Utahns supported independent redistricting at the ballot box, we’re still in this fight.

We, along with a majority of Utahns, believe that the people’s voice through the initiative and referendum process should be protected and STRENGTHENED, not weakened or diminished.

We’re not just advocating for fair maps and voter rights, we’re also working at the ballot box to elect pro-democracy champions! In 2024, our Accountability PAC supported candidates across the political spectrum, and we will continue to promote electoral accountability.
