A cloudy, overcast day for many parts - with showers or light rain at times. The best of any brighter weather will be across the Highlands and Islands. Mist and murk will linger in places on the east and south coasts and across some hills.

It's the warmest day of the year so far again in Scotland. 22.5C has been recorded at Tyndrum, beating the 22.1C at Achnagart and Kinlochewe yesterday. Final maxes to be confirmed later.
