And both his comments about flu and not fearing Covid have fuelled false claims in Facebook groups that the pandemic is not real or serious! As well as outrage.

That's wrong.
The Test and Trace Support Payment of £500 - for those on lower incomes in England who have to self-isolate - is a one-off lump sum not a weekly payment.
