The Doctors family are deeply saddened to hear of Timothy West’s passing. His final on-screen appearance in today’s Doctors episode is a moving reminder of his incredible talent, and it was an honour to have him join us. We send heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

A few Easter eggs from yesterday. The guest role of Carson is named after Carson Black, the first producer of Doctors, who established and shaped the series at its inception. Bev is named after Beverley Dartnall, Carson’s successor and our beloved producer for many years.

Other notable mentions include former producer Sandra MacIver and technical director Jon Boyce.

The music playing at the Icon bar is "It's Not Unusual" from the charity ball episode, performed by Dex Lee and Ross McLaren.

Rosie orders Scarlett’s birthday cake but gets her age wrong. The cake is actually for the show, celebrating 25 years of Doctors on the air!

Jimmi’s earwax story was suggested by our GP advisor, Kristen. She describes it as something she "loves to diagnose" because it can be "completely fixed in one consultation."

Did you catch Rosie's final malapropisms? She said "Funky Dory" and "the beagle has landed"!

At the end, Zara takes off her stilettos. This is a bookend to Zara’s entrance on the show, where we just saw her shoes as she walked into the Mill for the first time.
