Blimey our Advanced Choir bear has been on some adventures over half term! We hope our lovely singer is on the mend.

BAYC Junior bear has been with L and C over half term; 2 of our super juniors who always sing their hearts out and work hard in rehearsals, and balance that with being kind and heaps of fun. They had BAYC bear playing dobble, climbing snowdon and visiting a big castle!

Shout out to this Fab Four (and their partner in crime Méabh). They’ve been with us since BAYC opened its doors and juniors won’t be the same when they progress onto Seniors in September. Thanks for being ace examples to our younger singers - you’re brilliant.

Something our Seniors do really well is look out for each other. It’s just brilliant to see the older ones noticing when newer members need help, and supporting them to learn their part. So proud of you all ❤️

The second charity that we are so happy to able to support from the money raised at our Summer Concerts is Invictus Wellbeing . Along with Ilkley Youth Choir and Ilkley Stage Singers we were able to donate £331.50. Thank you so much to everyone who performed, bought tickets, and volunteered!

We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday performing at Ilkley Playhouse. Both choirs sang with confidence and expression. Members of the audience commented in particular on the staged songs with movement, and said how much energy everyone sang with. Well done to all of our singers!
