A glorious afternoon at the ICCEES conference in London. Behold, the fabulous Agata Blaszczyk and the virtual but no less fabulous Juliette Bretan. I brought the British Mission to Poland 1939 to the party.

It was a real pleasure to share my research with colleagues during the session Heritage, Cities, and Borders in Ukraine. Many thanks to the organizers of #ICCEES2025 for this wonderful opportunity! Grateful for the support of GRHis (Groupe Recherche Histoire) - UR 3831 at the University of Rouen.

Truly energised by the #iccees2025 roundtable devoted to my new book, "Unfinished Empire". Huge thanks to Dr Yuliya Yurchenko 🇺🇦, Ostap Kushnir, Retired_Account & Sofya du Boulay for their incisive and generous comments - and to the engaged audience who joined the discussion.

The final session of #iccees2025 has started. Join us afterwards for the closing keynote by Sergey Radchenko 'A Permanent Cold War: Great Power Rivalries, and the Future of the International Order' in Logan Hall. It will be followed by a drinks reception. Sergey Radchenko
