Concluding what has been a fulfilling year, we performed our final concert on behalf of the @ABF. It was a fantastic way to round up 2023 performing to a sold out audience who participated in singing a range of classic carols.

Over the last two days, one of the band's brass quintets has been performing at the National School and College Leaver Festival at the NEC in Birmingham. They engaged and demonstrated one of the many ways in which students can perform music for a living within The Royal Corps of Army Music
Today we welcome Musn Benjamin Pugh who has just completed Initial Trade Training at the Alford Schools of Military Music.
Musn Pugh has completed an undergraduate degree from Canterbury Christ Church University and a masters degree from University of Salford.

Welcoming our new Bandmaster SSgt -Lamerton-Reece!
SSgt Lamerton-Reece joined The Royal Corps of Army Music in 2011 and was assigned to the band of the Parachute Regiment. In 2021 he was selected for the Bandmaster course and upon completion joins us for his first posting as BM.

Last week, Ukrainian recruits briefly paused their training to mark their country’s Independence Day.
Alongside UK and Danish trainers, the recruits observed the Ukrainian national anthem performed by British Army Band Colchester.
