As anxious as I am about Iran, it’s important to not lose sight of a key fact. Israel is dragging the entire region into a disastrous war to keep getting away with a genocide in Gaza. To keep slaughtering Palestinians. And the US is willing to play along with them.

Reminder for those who just started watching the news:
Israeli forces bombed the Iranian consulate a few days ago, and tonight Iran decided to respond.

Israel will continue playing the victim as it has been doing for the past 75 years.

I thought poetry could change everything, could change history and could humanize, and I think that the illusion is very necessary to push poets to be involved and to believe. But now I think that poetry changes only the poet.

Can't keep up with it all but thanks to everyone who's reached out to say my piece resonated with them. A friend spotted this flyer in NY last night. It's an honor to contribute in some small way with my words to the struggle for a free Palestine.
