An Imperial College London team has helped demystify the digestive processes that break down fiber-rich foods. The study suggests that a fibrous food’s shape isn’t as important as its content at evoking a hormone response that suppresses appetite. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Science Translational Medicine
