At the halfway stage of the House Ski Jump Challenge, we’ve had a very special good luck message from Eddie the Eagle - Olympian and Britain’s most famous ski jumper! A boost for our students as they continue competing, breaking records and earning points for their houses.

We are incredibly proud of our Girls Active Leadership Squad (GALS) who have been invited to represent The Bourne Academy and the voice of teenage girls across the UK at the Youth Sport Trust National Conference on Wednesday 4th March. #YSTconference

We are so PROUD of our GALS who represented the voice of teenage girls at the Youth Sport Trust National Conference yesterday. The girls led discussions to over 100 adult professional delegates on topics including puberty, periods, social media & confidence in sport.

It’s Ambitions Week! We’re kicking the week off with engaging talks from Bournemouth and Poole College. Bournemouth & Poole College. We’ve got a week full of activities designed to get our students feeling ambitious about their future pathways and excited about what lies ahead.

The Bourne Academy Sleep Easy 2026 is happening next Friday, 20th March. Staff and an impressive 100 students from Years 11, 12 and 13 will be spending the night sleeping outside to raise money for ymca. If you can, please support them by donating here: tinyurl.com/3tczhd7n

On Friday our Y12 & 13 students attended an informative talk from Jade Hargood & Sam Chiverton from Shelter based at The Bourne Academy, learning about tenancy rights & independent living. Part of our commitment to tackling youth homelessness. #Homewards #TheRoyalFoundation
