This year’s edition of Focus on French Cinema got off to a great start last night with a screening of the delightful Fanny Ardant film ‘Rachel’s Game’ Avon Theatre Film Center The online portion of our festival launched yesterday with a carefully curated collection of new French films.
I’ll be hosting the third public screening for this year’s Focus on French Cinema Thursday night Avon Theatre Film Center We’ll be showing ‘Just a Couple of Days’ starring Benjamin Biolay & Camille Cottin. It’s a look at the migrant crisis in France. A panel from IRIS will discuss the issue.
It was great to be back at the beautiful Avon Theatre Film Center tonight to host a special screening of the recent 4K restoration of ‘Contempt.’ A smart crowd ready to talk about the film afterwards. Happy to see many young Godard fans in the house.
