Congratulations goes to our 2 newest Aerodrome Firefighters, after 3 days of practical assessments and written papers, they’ve passed their Aerodrome FF Initial. This is after months of hard work and drill nights. Next stop….BA Initial.

Debriefing is such an important tool, every skills session is followed by practice scenarios. Debriefing is then conducted to ensure we fine tune our responses in line with SOP’s.

Yesterday saw the team cover the first 2023 Fly In Brooklands Museum on the @MBWorldUK Runway. Fantastic to see 9 visiting aircraft visit us.

🔥 Weekly Drill Nights 🔥 Airfield RFFS evening tonight….Airfield Timed Responses, Deployment Drills, Pump Operating and Vehicle/Equipment Familiarisation. Followed by a familiarisation visit in our 1000m area, which included access gates and keys.

🔥 Weekly Drill Nights 🔥 Crews ventured down to Cowey Sale in Walton for a spot of Water Safety Training, sporting our @SeaSafeSystems Lifejackets. Crews touched up on Throwline practice, our Hose Inflation Kit and IEC input on water related casualties and arrests.
