Today is Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day.

I, too, participated in a 'rotary hunger strike' from breakfast to lunch. I am now prepared to resume it until dinner.

This 22-year-old officer spoke at the Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) ceremony in my neighborhood.

She is the niece of an uncle she never met, killed before she was born, and she lost several soldiers on October 7.

I cannot imagine carrying so much pain at such a young age.

Today is Israel's Memorial Day, on which we remember our fallen soldiers and victims of terror.

In two minutes, an air raid siren will sound throughout Israel and the country will stand silent in memory of its 25,039 fallen soldiers and 5,100 victims of terror as Yom HaZikaron, Memorial Day, gets underway.

May their memory be a blessing. 🕯️

Israel’s leading daily newspaper, Yediot Ahronot, lists each of the 1,500+ Israeli servicemen and women and victims of terror killed since October 7 on its front page ahead of Memorial Day, which starts this evening. 🕯️

Israel came in SECOND in the Eurovision popular vote, just behind Croatia.

The national juries—five highly unrepresentative people in each country—pushed Israel's Eden Golan down, but they couldn't prevent the people from elevating her to fifth place overall.

Remarkable.

Guess Israel isn't quite as hated as y'all would have us think, huh?
