Unsurprisingly, the deniers of both are largely the same.

Rather than engaging in diplomatic theatre by recognizing a nonexistent state, European countries would better serve the cause of peace by pushing Palestinian leaders to cease funding terrorism, enact democratic reforms, fight rampant corruption, and educate for peace.

Oh, well.

Symbolically recognizing a phantom Palestinian state that doesn’t meet the most basic requirements of statehood will change nothing on the ground.

Not a single Palestinian will be freer and not a single Israeli will be safer.

It will, however, send the message that terror pays.

My main question is how this person, who left the administration just days ago, already has a “team.”

Is it possible—just possible—that this was actually an elaborate, carefully orchestrated PR stunt, rather than an act of conscience?
