Not me having a 15K day today. Definitely made up for the power being out for almost three days. I missed writing about these characters real bad 🥹

Not my tooth cracking and being loose right before my vacation 🙄🫠🤣

Officially done with preorders. They severely increase my anxiety these days.

I’ll probably go back to them next year when I’m more on track with my schedule but as long as I’m doing these contracted books it’s a no for preorders. It’s more important to me that I have as much time as possible to write and have them properly edited/proofread.

Love my house but I want to go back to an apartment 🫠😂. It’s TOO big. Never thought I’d say that.

I want something small and cozy with lots of carpet next.

Bonus points if I can rent a 1 bedroom unit in the same complex to use for my office. That’s my goal for next year for sure.

Pausing the urban romance I was working on to complete a thriller that’s calling my name. This is going to be fun 😎

If this year has taught me anything, it’s to stand firm on my boundaries, not to settle for anything less than healthy communication, and to limit who I give access to my mind and time too.

I thought this year would be the year of constant professional elevation but it’s actually been a year of personal reflection and revelation. I haven’t really given priority to my career the way I have in the past. I’ve honored my contractual obligations, but I’ve focused on me.

So many relationships have been draining and toxic in my life. Not b/c of them, but b/c of me. Because of my lack of boundaries. I’ve learned the importance of properly categorizing ppl in my life and learning to not silence myself and my needs to make others comfortable.

This year has been a year of evolution. I’m committed to continuing down this path of self-awareness. B/c the truth is, the better I become at protecting myself the better my relationships get. I can’t expect anyone to consider & care for me more than I do myself 🥰

So as I gear up for my 8 year anniversary, I’m working less than I ever have and for the first time I’m okay with that. Not because I don’t love what I do anymore, but because I’m finally giving other areas in my life the priority and care they deserve.

With this year being about evolution I imagine next year will be about experiences, and I can’t wait to see what the better version of me and God have in store ✨♥️ This will be my last tweet for a while. Readers, y’all find and connect with me elsewhere under this same name.
