UIL Swimming & Diving finals today in Austin on the campus of the University of Texas for 5A & 6A.

Big Sat. for UIL girls basketball in all 6 conferences. By the end of the day, 24 teams will have pushed their ticket for the state tournament next week at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Is that softballs I hear coming off bats in Texas? First day of UIL after school work-outs. Hum Babe,
Hum Girl. A season that will end the first week of June for some teams. Memories will be made for a lifetime.

UIL SpiritState Championship, Day 1!

Packing to head to Ft. Worth for the UIL Spirit State Championships Jan. 4-6. Over 600 teams signed up to participate. Cheerleaders are now being recognized & rewarded for what they do. TGCA is proud of the cheer coaches & their squads.

The game must be played to determine a winner or loser. There is so much more to the game than winning or losing. If you take sportsmanship out of the game, athletics has no place in the educational process.
