We had our Austin ISD 12th Annual AVID Cording Ceremony. 490 Austin ISDAVID seniors, 1000 college acceptances, $12 million in free money despite the FAFSA nightmare. Our AVID teachers are incredible, our students have so much grit, they’re all inspiring.

The professional learning AVID Summer Institute is some of the best I ever experienced as an educator. We are fortunate to have 4 AVID Staff Developers in Austin ISD who continue to hone their craft and bring that learning back and serving the district!
