The Mt. Sidney solid waste site (2556 Lee Hwy) will be closed starting on Monday, 8/18/25. A new solid waste compactor will be installed. We hope to reopen Aug 22 – we will keep you posted! In the meantime, please use the Verona or New Hope sites or the Landfill.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY is in effect for Augusta Water customers is in the Bon Lea and Fox Hill areas of Augusta County. The Boil Water Advisory will extend to Blackburn area and portions of the Verona area beginning at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 15. See Augustawater.com.
