Two very proud former coaches of the Wheeler Softball Team got to watch this team become State Runner-Up in Class 2A Softball!

Where do we begin. Thank you all for the amazing support this season! We are over the moon thankful for all communities support. It takes a village to make a run to the state tournament. Couldn’t have asked for a better village than we have.

Congratulations to Andy Schwery of the Audubon Wheelers on being named the softball coach of the year. Audubon and Exira-EHK combined in softball this season, and Shwery guided them to a state-runner-up finish. The Wheeler softball team also won the Western Iowa Conference.

Congratulations to Riley Miller of the Audubon Softball team on being named the softball player of the year. Miller was outstanding in the circle for the Wheelers this season, going 15-2 with 237 strikeouts and posting a 1.22 ERA.
