SKYBOUND has been trademarked by Vista Maxima Services - the company which initially registered Hyperia on Merlin's behalf.

With the usual classes applied for and Lane IP listed as the representative, could this be the name of an upcoming attraction at a UK Merlin theme park?

ICYMI: Last night’s article also covered LEGOLAND Windsor’s recent planning application for a replacement DUPLO Valley Theatre.

Whilst similar in style to the existing theatre, the new theatre will seat over 200 guests, representing a sizeable increase in capacity of 68 guests.

Within the plaza, the existing toilets will remain but receive enhanced theming, the current LEGOLAND Coffee Co. will become the new Guest Services building, & the current guest services building will be converted into Brick Street Café.

The ticket barriers will sit at the back.

The reconfigured entrance experience will firstly take guests through new themed security gates, before passing beneath the brand new entrance portal featuring giant LEGO recreations of key attractions.

Beyond this will be a new digital display providing park information.

Plans have been submitted by LEGOLAND Windsor for an overhaul of the park entrance!

The Beginning is set to become Brick Street, with the installation of an impressive new entrance portal and the relocation of the turnstiles to the far side of the plaza.

Shared with the Passholder Facebook group, the diagram details where the 14.8s of airtime will occur in the layout, with a stunning 4.2s on the outerbank turn!

The indoor queue line and station interior has seen quite a refresh, having been updated with new signage and new sound track!

The Wave features a new near miss element in the form of a billboard, and there is also a new entrance portal, along with subtle changes elsewhere in the surrounding area.

We’ve taken our seats and ridden The Wave! The new sit down train is manufactured by ART Engineering, and our first impressions are that it provides a ride experience which is a lot more comfortable than its predecessor, with the lap bar restraint much more freeing and smooth!
