Athabasca County facilities will be flying flags at half mast in memory of fallen RCMP Officer, Constable Rick O'Brien, who was killed in the line of duty on September 22, 2023 in Coquitlam, B.C.

Please note that the Colinton Truck Fill Station will be receiving maintenance and repairs on Wednesday September 27th and will be out of service for the day. The station will be operational again on Thursday September 28th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Athabasca County would like to congratulate Pat Vincent, recent Interim CAO of Athabasca County, on receiving the prestigious long service award for 50 years in municipal government at the Rural Municipalities of Alberta Convention on November 7th, 2023. What an amazing career.
