AstroNvim v3.0 development is well underway with a big migration to the new lazy.nvim plugin manager (github.com/folke/lazy.nvim) Notable changes: - Moving to lazy.nvim with its inclusive features. - Removal of plugin-specific abstractions to make the configuration clear to users.

AstroNvim v3.0.0 is going to be getting fold detection using nvim-ufo and better columns using the new status column feature in Neovim 0.9! This will also have mouse support for interacting with folds, viewing diagnostics, previewing git changes, and toggling breakpoints.

Neovim v0.9 has sadly been delayed to March 1, 2023, so AstroNvim v3.0 has also been delayed. New tentative schedule for release: - March 1, 2023 - AstroNvim v3.0 released to Nightly - March 8, 2023 - AstroNvim v3.0 released to Stable
