As we close out August, I want to reiterate that America would not be what it is without Black businesses. Across the nation, there are 3.5 million Black businesses that employ more than 1.2 million people & contribute hundreds of billions of dollars to the national economy.

Thanks to Governor Tony Evers and Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Wisconsin will join the IRS Direct File Program for filing season 2025! Eligible Wisconsinites will be able to file their taxes online directly with the IRS for free, saving folks time and money.

Women before us fought for our vote and our power to build the future we all deserve. As we celebrate their legacy on #WomensEqualityDay let’s remember that their struggle was not just for a single right, but for the broader fight for equality and justice for all.

Funding, in this case to fight PFAS, can be released by a Republican-led JFC that does so routinely. Yet, funds are trapped by co-chairs who continually make excuses instead of freeing these resources Wisconsinites need for clean & safe drinking water. Let's get this done.
