It's not just an open secret that UC Berkeley is permissive of antisemitism. Student groups at Cal blatantly ban members and speakers who share commonly held values like the right for Israel to exist. ADL California strongly supports the legal effort by The Brandeis Center.

As a former elected official who has cast thousands of votes, I can't imagine why any Oakland City Council Member sided with these Jew haters.
