Today we got to hold our own mock election in honor of Election Day tomorrow. Students created their own voter registration card, listened to the candidates, and then voted. These leaders were so excited to practice their civic duty! GreenES Leaders @lesliedanneen

In todays mock election students learned about how important it is to get out and vote! We registered, filled out a ballot and even got stickers! In a not so close vote, I am excited to take on my role as classroom president!😂 GreenES Leaders @lesliedanneen

A group of students from Dillard Drive Magnet Middle tell Wake County school board that schools are unsafe due to firearms. They ask for improvement such as upgraded blinds to prevent people from seeing inside classrooms & clear backpacks could save student lives. #wcpss
