Apparently according to Premier Inn If you are forced out of your hotel by a fire and don’t actually get access to a hotel room for the night that you paid for? You aren’t entitled to a refund. Despite making people walk through a staircase filled with billowing smoke, explain?
Last Saturday, we were evacuated at UkPonycon from our hotel, due to smoke. We spent the entire night without bed, in the cold. I've gotten breathing issues and gotten very sick generally, and am traumatized by that night. Premier Inn refuses to refund anything. What a service!
We popped our heads in Monday afternoon to enquire about a refund, the lobby and reception still reeked of smoke, yet they were still taking bookings and reservations. My chest and throat _still_ hurt from smoke inhalation. Premier Inn - be better.
I was one of the people affected. I was struggling to stand up and suffering from significant distress during and after the event. Premier Inn didn't even phone me to tell me I had a new hotel, I got an email late afternoon on the Sunday. I was offered free breakfast & that's it
This is what the street looked like at 5am, this was hours before we were allowed back into the building to retrieve belongings & we had been evacuated at 2am. Many of us without shoes or clothes, my hair was still wet from the shower. Premier Inn still offers us no compensation

Without hesitation they helped everyone in need, including myself when I collapsed. They were the true heroes of that night. Instead of denying them a compensation Premier Inn you should be thanking them.
