I’m excited to announce that I have verbally committed and will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Northeastern Junior College. A big thanks to my friends, family, coaches, and teammates! A special thanks to Coach Tom Myers and Coach Shane Gertner for this opportunity!


Softball final: Sterling Tigers 9 Brush 5 Ashley Wecker led the offense going 4-4, with 4 RBIs, Tigers jumped out to an 8-0 lead and were able to hold on to improve to 16-5, 11-3. Games against Valley and Strasburg next week to finish the regular season.

Home Saturday for Sterling Tigers softball with the ladies entering the field as the 4th seed. They’ll host 29 Burlington at 10am and if they win they’ll face either 13 Weld Central or 20 Valley at 2:30 for the regional championship.

Softball ball regional final: Weld Central 1 Sterling Tigers 2 Tigers defense turned one last Rebel threat away to hold on and capture their 7th 3A regional title. On to Friday morning’s knockout round of 16 in Aurora.

COMBS IS THE CHAMPION! cast combs wins a back and forth affair with Colin Brown of Valley 6-5! Cast finishes his senior season at 42-3 and walks off his career as a State Champion! Sterling Tigers

Rylyn Nelson hit nine home runs, including three-straight multi-homer games, helping NJC Athletics to six wins. Nelson has tallied 35 career homers which ties the Northeastern program record. The sophomores efforts earn the #NJCAASoftball DI Player of the Week! #NJCAAPOTW
