Hello heatwave!

Today is a very bittersweet day as this was my last show on Texas Today. I’m going to miss my morning peeps TREMENDOUSLY (though I won’t miss the 1 am alarms 😂) Starting Monday you can catch me with Kris, Lindsey and Kurtis at 5,6 and 10 p.m.

Make sure to stay weather aware tonight! Storms begin rolling into our area around 6 p.m. and continue moving east through late tonight. A Tornado Watch is in effect until 10 for multiple counties. Up to softball sized hail and high winds also possible with tonight's storms

The Tornado Watch has been extended until midnight. You'll want to keep your weather alerts on as you head to bed tonight

Still a chance for severe storms with the hail threat. Going to want to walk the dog early tomorrow as temperatures heat up swiftly!

Two big things this evening: A Tornado Watch has been issued for pretty much all Central Texas counties until 10 p.m. Our Heat Advisory has also been extended one day further and we will now be under this alert until Saturday night.

Luke looking spiffy on our fur'cast tonight. Hot pavement and the chance for storms has paws on red initially, better to head out for the walk closer to sunset and early tomorrow morning.
