It's Rose Bowl weekend in Riverview, N.B., as host MGCC Golf challenges Ashburn Golf Club today and tomorrow. Day 1 action features eight alternate shot matches. Brightwood Golf & Country Club Riverside CC Belvedere Golf Club

After Day 1 at the #RoseBowl, MGCC Golf leads Ashburn Golf Club 6-2, winning five of eight alternate shot matches and tying two others. Day 2 will feature 16 singles matches. As challenger, Moncton will need to pick up 12.5 points to win.

MGCC Golf has won the #RoseBowl, beating Ashburn Golf Club 14.5-9.5. The NB club led 6-2 heading into Sunday’s singles matches and won the session 8.5-7.5. Moncton is expected to face a challenge from Belvedere Golf Club in the fall.

Jeff MacDonald has been promoted to Team Canada – NextGen Girls Head Coach. Over the past two years, MacDonald has led Team Canada to back-to-back podium finishes at the World Junior Girls Golf Championship, winning in 2023 and finishing as runners-up earlier this month.
