Inspected the flood damages caused by the ravaging Siang river in #EastSiang district of Mebo area in Namsing circle today, in presence of 7 member Inter-Ministerial Central Team. Mebo is Arunachal's rice bowl. Steps will be taken for its protection.

Also visited the flood affected site where Namsing villagers had constructed sandbag spurs and bamboo porcupines on self-help basis to protect their village and agricultural land from rampaging #Siang river. #AtmaNirbhar

The State Disaster Management Authority has issued a revised SOPs (wef June 21- June 30, 2021) to contain spread of #covid19 virus in Arunachal.
