It was an absolute pleasure to hear Alan Johnson talk about his books & his political career with Helen Pike on Thursday - we’re so pleased that he enjoyed the evening.

Thank you to Dowland's Foundry for their wonderful performances, for Oxford Festival of the Arts . We hope they enjoyed playing from our copy of Dowland's 'The first booke of songes or ayres of foure partes with tableture for the lute' (published in 1600!) as much as we enjoyed hearing them!

We open the 7th edition today of Waterperry Opera Festival with our new production of Turn of the Screw. A huge thank you to all the team across the board for the months of dedication to bring this to fruition. The sun is shining, waterperry gardens are looking beautiful. Bring it on!

And just like that (or perhaps not ‘just like that’) we have de-installed the final & longest Oxford Festival of the Arts exhibition New College, Oxford - the extraordinary work of Johannes von Stumm. Defiance in mixing glass, stone, & steel; w/ the humility, beauty & expression of the soul. #art OxTweets
