The reason I like Eurovision a lot is that it reminds me of the kind of play competition in Athens that sophocles would win you know like competitive art. I think is freaking cool and Eurovision is one of the last bastions of this beautiful form

incredible story. local newspaper folded last week. Local reporter lost his job of 18+ years as a result. He kicks off on Substack at the start of this week, hours later is #1 on the fast-rising leaderboard with hundreds of paid subscribers. I reached out to help him get cracking

I think i stayed in this place when it was a cheap motel. Great views. Polyester sheets kind of vibe. Absolutely adequate. No doubt begging for a revamp and a 3x price hike.

This pub is London pub royalty and one of my favourite places to enjoy a pint in central London. Majestic architecture, a time-capsule interior, a great selection of booze, and a welcoming Guv’nor—this is a must-visit London pub. #boozer #fitzrovia #London

#cafc does it amaze you as a Charlton supporter when you read all these so called people in the know, telling us about signings and or rejections of players about to join us. There is only one person really in the know and that’s Richard Cawley You can forget all the others.
