The joy of #Houdini and #Mantra. Drop an HDRI, do some tweaks, use some noise and attributes to modify and animate the mesh. Not too bad for a quick test. I really like the quality of this native rendering engine. Less 3rd party and more natives! #Karma will be next ;)

Using SideFX Houdini as a drum synthesizer. No samples used, all you hear is the Houdini synthesis engine ;) All is done using CHOPs and no external processing. Houdini Sequences, Houdini synthesise it... Looking forward to keeping developing this concept further. Keep posted!
