When I get a new sketchbook/notebook, I always skip the first page for some reason. I feel like there's too much pressure to make the first page impressive or somewhat meaningful. That's what first posts on new social media accounts feel like to me.

Okay, this is hilarious. Bare with me. I was just cleaning up my twitter account for official use, eventually reaching my first ever tweet. I get the feeling of what I thought was deja vu, then after a few seconds realised what my first post on threads was a few weeks ago:

Me and ⁦@glvesmusic⁩ earlier this year at ⁦björk⁩’s Cornucopia tour in Perth. This was the first time we ever met in person after fostering what is now the most priceless sisterhood I’ve always wanted. It was an incredible experience, Bjork is ever-evolving

This was honestly so wild. Some of the worlds best composers were sitting in that room and being up there was very overwhelming. Thankful I didn’t start crying tbh. I’m incredibly honoured. Thank you everyone who voted for me out there! Ya’ll really making dreams come true🧡
