The Abramczyk family lost their homeland when Poland became a pawn in the hands of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union in 1939. An odyssey began, taking them to the Soviet Union, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and England. From there they hoped to strike new roots in Canada. #MigrationDay
