Made my way to Otterburn Training Camp this morning to visit Army Cadet Music and Northumbria ACF. Looking forward to it.

RSM Lightfoot was very keen to practice his drumming skills at the Army Cadet Music Camp. Also brilliant to see the cadets undertaking their music practice. Outstanding.

Last evening the Cadet Forces Beating the Retreat at Edinburgh Castle was a truly outstanding event that made all of us that are associated with the Cadets very proud. Well done to everyone that was involved with delivering and performing in this event.

Too often in my travels across the Army Cadets I hear the value of music in our Cadet Experience questioned. Well look at this and question no more.
