I’m so very sad to learn of the death of one of my favorite authors and one of our nation’s great historians, David McCullough. He brought history to life in so many outstanding works and it was a pleasure to meet him.

As this year ends I am thankful to have served as Chief Justice in 2024. Your Supreme Court works well together and I appreciate the friendship and support of my fellow justices and talented staff. My best to incoming Chief Justice Bill Wooton and our new Justice Charles Trump.
