Jade is one of the most dedicated and hardest working people I know. She puts her soul into everything from SW activism, harm reduction work and her own personal health and well being. She worked so hard to ger to where she is only to have everything taken gofund.me/410c97df

Today will be the very last day I guest lecture or speak publicly “about my story”. Moving forward it's no longer about my pain and trauma! I will only speak about my expertise on pain and trauma and how to work towards resolution. My pain is no longer your learning experience.

My final guest lecture is complete! It's bittersweet as I love the course, the history of it and all the professors attached to it but this was an important step in my journey. Now the next time you hear me speak at a University I promise you it will be as a professor.💞🌱

If you see me in Twitter know that that means I am learning to slow down and finally feeling the relief of taking the summer off from grad school. 💗

Sex Work Exclusionary Social Workers/ Psychotherapists should not be a thing in 2024. Pathologizing sex work as being rooted in trauma is problematic. NO other form of labour is pathologized in this way. The two are NOT mutually inclusive or explicit
