A very informative learning tour of Duration Gold’s mining sites of Gaika/Kwekwe & Vubuchikwe/Gwanda last week. I saw evidence of sizable investments & met a dynamic team doing good work. Also really enjoyed my 2nd visit to the Zimbabwe Midlands blessed with bountiful minerals.

Always productive when Canada & UNFPA reps get to discuss those core gender equality issues we care about. Canada au Zimbabwe committed to efforts addressing #girlseducation #GBV #childmarriage #teenagepregnancy We also discussed HeForShe as potent vehicle for progress here in 🇿🇼.
